Developers can now configure multi-zone clusters using the new multiZoneConfig property within GceClusterConfig. This introduces the MultiZoneConfig schema, allowing instances to be distributed across multiple zones within a region, with targetShape (currently supporting ANY) to control distribution. This is a significant enhancement for cluster resilience.
Breaking Change Alert: Several properties have been made read-only. If your code was previously setting these values, it will now fail. Specifically, eventLogPath in the ApplicationAttemptInfo schema is now read-only. Additionally, the following properties within the VirtualClusterOperationMetadata schema are now read-only: createTime, description, doneTime, labels, operationType, virtualCluster, virtualClusterUuid, and warnings. Please update your client code to reflect these changes.
