The GoogleCloudDiscoveryengineV1alphaAssistAnswer schema now marks the connectorDisplayNames property as readOnly. This is a breaking change; if your code attempts to write to this field, it will now fail. This field is intended as an output-only map from internal connector agent names to human-readable display names, populated by the service. Developers should update their implementations to no longer set this value.
Separately, the GoogleCloudDiscoveryengineV1alphaAuthorizationServerSideOAuth2 schema gains a new basicAuthenticationEnabled boolean field. This allows you to configure HTTP Basic authentication (client_secret_basic) for OAuth token exchanges, useful for integrating with OAuth providers that require this method instead of the default client_secret_post.
