A new LakehouseProxyConfig schema has been added to the Metastore v1alpha API, enabling configuration for Dataproc Metastore to Lakehouse proxy routing during phased namespace migrations. This configuration is exposed via the new lakehouseProxyConfig property within the Service schema. This update includes a breaking change: the lakehouseProxyConfig property itself, along with its nested catalog and namespaces properties, are now explicitly marked as read-only (output-only). Developers who were previously attempting to set these properties in any capacity will need to update their clients to reflect their immutable nature.
